G’day, I’m Mallory Holley and in my spare time, I love to write about my kustom kulture lifestyle, including my love for vintage fashion, pinups, and old-skool cars in my blog, which is called ‘High Heels & Whitewall Wheels’.
Since March 2011, my High Heels and Whitewall Wheels blog has evolved into what it is today, with currently over 14,000 fabulous followers over various social media platforms as well as subscribing directly to the blog itself.
Offering vintage inspiration, styling advice, detailed product reviews and how-tos, my blog covers a broad range of topics surrounding a modern day pin-up and kustom kulture lifestyle. I also post about the car cruises and events that I attend, photographic adventures and occasionally share stories about the animals in my life. I hope to inspire and encourage anyone who shares or appreciates my passions.
So what’s in a name? Well, ‘High Heels’ incorporates my girly side of vintage inspired fashion, pin-ups and of course, shoes (the higher the better!) ‘Whitewall Wheels’ therefore incorporates my love of cars and the 1920s to 1980s eras. Aside from the cute rhyme, whitewall tyres (as opposed to blackwall tyres) were an extremely popular choice of wheel, particularly in the early 1950s and are associated with this charming era. Today, you will find many hotrods, ratrods, classic and custom cars cruising around on whitewall wheels. Overall, ‘High Heels & Whitewall Wheels’ aims to bring back the nostalgia and charm of these bygone eras into everyday modern life.
