Shoe Love is True Love

There’s something sexy and empowering about a pair of high heel shoes (preferably in my size of course).  The higher, the better! And obviously, us girls can’t just stop at one pair… or after three-hundred pairs (in my case).  After all, there is no such thing as too many shoes!! I must admit, I do find it hard to go past a nice pair of shoes and I will fall head over heels for a unique design.

One destination to find unique shoes is at the online store called Shoe Me Gorgeous.  It is great to have the convenience of being able to shop for shoes online from the comfort of my own home and have them posted straight to my door.  I can honestly tell you that I have fallen in love with the many unique styles that Shoe Me Gorgeous carries, plus their service is second to none! The hardest thing is choosing which shoes will come and live in my wardrobe!

My inability to decide may have resulted in a teeny splurge recently… I could not resist adopting 15 more pairs of new babies (shoes) from Shoe Me Gorgeous, a few of which I recently shot in a pin-up shoot with Denise Moretti for the online store itself!

It was quite funny, because on the day of our shoot, Denise Moretti and I coincidently happened to wear the same thing! We both wore our leopard jeans and a black cardigan with some studded flats which we soon ditched for some nautical heels.  I guess great minds think alike.  Check this out!

Aside from leopard print  (which I also bought multiple pairs of shoes), I am a sucker for nautical prints.  Hence, I simply could not go past these Funtasma ANCHOR-22 shoes.  The heel is the perfect height for daily wear and compliment everything from a pair of jeans, to a nautical dress.

Additionally, I had to get the Pinup Courture Teeze-12-3 shoes, because I couldn’t go past the stunning Sailor Jerry style tattoo flash print.  They came with interchangeable ribbons, two red and two black so you can change the colour of the bow to best match your outfit, therefore practically flattering and enhancing anything that you decide to wear.  I prefer the red ribbon because it is great to also compliment red lipstick, which is a crucial element of the classical pin up look.

Speaking of red, my newly acquired Pin Up Couture Bombshell-03 shoes would have to be a staple wardrobe item, and a great style and height for daily wear.  These satin covered heels just scream fierce and sexy, with their pointed toes, dedicate four and a half inch heels and feminine satin bow on the back.  Although this particular style comes in many colours, the red ones just HAD to come and live in my wardrobe.

When I laid my eyes on these Revolver heels, I could not resist the temptation of patent platforms with gun heels! My oh my do they attract some attention when I wear them out! When paired with a stunning outfit from the sister store of Shoe Me Gorgeous called Dress Me Gorgeous (another great online store) and you are set for a splendid night out.

Another head turner are these Bordello Teeze-27  platforms! It really was love at first sight when I first saw these glittery golden rhinestone covered beauties.  They remind me of a bold candy flamed hot rod with gold metallic paint.  I am in love with these shoes!

And guess what??! This image that I took of Denise Moretti wearing the Bordello Teeze-27  platforms is currently featured as the background on the home page of the Shoe Me Gorgeous website so make sure you head on over to www.ShoeMeGorgeous.com to check it out!

Of course, there was a number of leopard print, cherry pattern, army print, fetish and some zombie flamingo shoes recently migrated from the heavens of Shoe Me Gorgeous into my studio and hence some pretty wild shoots to come.  For now though, I think I need another shoe rack.

Ciao for now,

P.S. Thanks to the stunning  Denise Moretti who modelled for me ♥
