Trick-or-Treat

My Mum always tells me I have enough costumes in my studio to open up a costume shop.  My ever-growing collection of costumes and random things to use in photo shoots as “props” however, does come in handy.  Especially if you have a costume party to go to.

Not last night but the night before, twenty-four robbers did not come knocking at my door.  Instead, my friend Jessi-Marie called me up and asked if she could borrow a costume for a Halloween dress-up karaoke party she was going to.  Shortly after I hung up the telephone, my doorbell rang and I opened the door to find Jessie-Marie’s beautiful, smiling face behind the door.

We soon found a few options in the studio and settled on a maid costume.  Jessi-Marie tried it on and found it a perfect fit.  I then teased her hair, curled it, and applied some spooktacular makeup.  Just to add the finishing touch, I grabbed some lovely black wedge SHOES out for her to wear.

Although a night out at karaoke was an enticing invitation, I decided to be unsociable and give it a miss as I have a lot of editing & preparations to do for my upcoming exhibition, however Jessi-Marie had a fantastic night and looked gorgeous (as always).   Oh and she had a ball combing her hair out the next day! hahah!
