Rockabilly trio, The Infernos have just released their second album, titled ‘Still Fired Up’ and will be having their launch party this Friday, November 7th 2014. This exciting event will be held at the trendy tiki themed venue, The LuWOW at 62-70 Johnston Street, Fitzroy, Melbourne.
This red hot night will of course be celebrating the burning new energy that The Infernos are bringing to the Australian rockabilly scene , with the release of ‘Still Fired Up’. Their repertoire includes a smokin’ hot explosion of original songs, as well as rare ‘50s and ‘80s covers performed with a modern day energy. I heard this cd just after it was recorded and I can testify that it is brilliant!
The night will be firing up at 7pm and is set to be HUGE! It boasts a line-up of great music talent to entertain you during the night. You will be boppin’ along to The Mighty Kings, with their neo-rockin’ sounds and coverbilly and also to some rockabilly with psycho sounds from the The Flying Saucers. The Pacific Belles will also captivate you with some fabulous forties fun! In between acts, DJ Emi-Lou will keep your toes tapping to even more marvellous music.
Aside from the exciting entertainment and album launch, there will also be a pin-up competition! Entry into this is FREE for ladies attending the evening. Sponsored by Christine’s and Vivien of Holloway Australia, this competition is offering some amazing prizes! The winner will receive a $150 voucher to buy herself any Vivien of Holloway dress that her heart desires from Christine’s in Fitzroy. However, to reward all the effort (and courage) the other pinups have gone to in entering, every pin-up competing on the night will win a prize! How awesome is that?
If you want to have a bit of fun and enter this fabulous pin-up competition, you MUST PRE-REGISTER at http://goo.gl/Jivvek
I think it can be sure to say that The Infernos’ CD launch party is going to be a great night with good value entertainment for just $15. I hope to see you there, if you are in the area!
